This Hotaru (Mugen Uniform) costume has many intricate construction details.  The red wool garbadine jacket is fully lined with rayon and features a double piped welted interior pocket.  The light blue bow features engineered sky blue stripes and is fully detachable (via snaps) from the jacket.  The modesty panel has a black star applique and is also fully detachable from the jacket.  The navy sailor collar is attached to the jacket.  All the blue stripes on the pleated skirt and jacket trim were hand painted.  The skirt has an invisible back zipper closure and tabbed waistband.
